Your set is your intention or mentality when taking mushrooms. You should be in a relatively calm state of mind before you start. If you are already of a disturbed state of mind, it may amplify the negative thoughts.
ENHANCE THE EXPERIENCE
If you have close friends you can trip to the company, it will be easier to enjoy. It can get challenging at times but try to focus on the present moment and on deep, regular breaths.
Only follow a train of thought if you find yourself demolishing negativity through reasoning. If you stray in your thoughts, it could increase the potential for distress. We advise that you begin with a low dose of around 1 gram. It may increase to 4-5 grams depending on your reactions but overdosing beyond may not be fatal, but can be extremely unpleasant.
